You are cordially invited to visit a special presentation of GLOW ART, the embroidery that glows in the dark, and meet the artist – Tetiana Protcheva.
The presentation will take place at Ukraine’s Pavilion (Level 2) at 3 PM on 13.01.2022.
Tetiana Protcheva is a renowned Ukrainian embroidery master. Her works have been exhibited in the USA, Australia, Scotland, Israel, Japan, France, Brazil and many other countries. In summer 2010 Ms. Protcheva represented Ukraine at the Expo 2010 in China. Ms. Protcheva’s intellectual embroidery has transformed the concept of Ukrainian craft. Her handmade pieces dance, sing and glow in the dark creating incredible emotional atmosphere.
Ms. Protcheva has combined traditional embroidery and modern digital technology. Her works have been presented in Brazil, the UK, the USA, Australia, Japan, China, Israel, Spain, Sweden etc. Her accomplishments have already been added to the Ukrainian Book of Records.
At the meet-and-greet with the artist the guests will see: a Ukrainian flag embroidered with eyes closed, a singing-and-dancing embroidery, an AR-embroidery and V-art, a Cheshire Cat smile that disappears in the dark.
They will also be able to learn about new directions in GLOW ART, DIGITAL RUKEWORK and POLYMSEST. After the presentation Ms. Protcheva will be teaching a workshop. Everyone will be able to make their own Dreams Doll to make all your wishes come true.
